Bundle Shell Blaster (BSB-22K)
INTRODUCTION
The BSB is a semi-automated solution for external cleaning of heat-exchangers using high-pressure water jets, which makes this shell-side cleaning of tube bundles sandblasting simple and safe.The BSB consists of 2-wheeled frames that roll over the heat-exchanger and are height-adjustable by 2 hand wheels. The system is equipped with 2 tensioner chains for securing the frames to the tube bundle rollers. Between the frames is mounted a stainless steel coupling profile to which the 4-inch track is attached.The power tractor travels back and forth automatically, which is achieved by means of a gearbox, a pneumatic motor, gears, and heavy-duty stainless steel roller bearings. The automatic back-and-forth movement is ensured by end switches coupled to a control valve. The stroke can be set by means of easily removable end stops.
